This year my husband and I traveled to Barcelona, and fell in love with the architecture and the food. This painting was inspired by a rainy view from Gaudi’s Casa Mila. I became really interested in the different tones and transparency of the lace curtain. This was one of the more challenging paintings I’ve made.
